You will be directly involved in the analysis, design and implementation of the world's most innovative system for large-scale control of railway traffic. You will design solutions in a team of experienced developers, domain experts and end users. We work in agile teams on a common code base with continuous and automated integration.

Ideally, you have knowledge and experience in the following areas or are willing to acquire them:

Technologies and tools:

• Solid Java experience
• SQL (Oracle DB, PostgreSQL)
• Memory grids (Hazelcast)
• Messaging (TIBCO Rendezvous, Solace)
• Eclipse RCP, Angular
• CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins)
• Eclipse IDE, IntelliJ IDE
• Git

Project experience:

• Working in agile project teams (e.g. Scrum)
• Experience with highly available and scalable systems
• Prior knowledge of, or eagerness to learn about, railway production or infrastructure networks

Skills:

• Enjoying analysis and finding solutions in a complex technical environment
• Enjoying close cooperation in development teams and with our customers’ end users
• High quality standards for work results
• Willingness to take on responsibility
• Proficiency in written and spoken German, knowledge of English is welcome

Project assignment:

• Project assignments are typically for several years
• Work takes place in a scaled agile environment with and at the customer
• Projects are mainly in the European region
• Willingness for occasional travel to the customer or one of our offices is welcome
